Sound waves are vibrational currents that carry our thoughts and
intentions. Sound therapists place healing intentions into the sound of
their vocal tones and musical instruments. These sound currents carry
the healing into the subtle energy and physical bodies of the intended
recipient.

Healing tones have been proven to affect brain chemistry and
influence the glandular system to release hormone, promoting healing.
The beneficial effects show up immediately in the auric field, helping to
clear density in the energy bodies, align chakras, and open meridians.
The person experiences this as love and a heart-opening relaxation with
calming of mind and emotions.

This workshop explores sound and vibrational healing practices
from an intuitive and heart-centered spirit. There is no need for musical
background or to know a "correct pitch". Everyone can tone and "sing"
the sounds found inside them. By letting our intuition guide us we
discover the power of our own resonances. Toning demonstrations of
chakra and energy field work will be given and practiced in group and
partner exercises.

This workshop is very 'hands-on' and experiential. Participants will
gain an overview of sound healing therapies used today for holistic healing
and learn skillful ways to integrate sound healing into client sessions or
self-care routines.

(1877-1945), now honored as
the Father of Holistic Medicine,
spoke prophetically over three
quarters of a century ago, seeing
through time into our present
day. We are now witnessing the
transformational nature of sound
recognized in healing arts and
medicine.
Hans Jenny (1904-1972), a
Swiss doctor and natural scientist
researched sound waves and
their effect on various moveable
particles and substances. This
contribution to the field of sound
science, called Cymatics,
dramatically demonstrates how
the world around us is patterned
through the interactions of
vibrations. Our world is literally a
pictograph of sound in motion!
