Namaste ~ In the foothills of the Berkshires, nature reveals her bounty. Wild herbs & edibles for tinctures & salves, plants for flower essences, woodlands & meadows for us & the devas to play in, constellations & moon cycles clearly visible in darkened skies--such was my segway from the rhythms & harmony of nature into the world of vibrational medicine. I began receiving & studying massage after reading an article that a gifted healer & massage therapist wrote for the local paper. Completing in-depth studies & a private tutorage in the Edgar Cayce-Dr. Reilly tradition of massage, inspired me further. It wasn't long before I was moving to Florida to study at the Florida School of Massage in Gainesville. Graduating with a 1000-hr diploma and later taking advanced courses in St. John Neuromuscular Therapy & clinical studies in Myofacial Release--it was a given that my new practice would come to offer therapeutic bodywork and vibrational healing. Attending a sound healing workshop at a music festival, I was quite surprised to find myself experiencing "soul memory". As if viewing from some remote time & place, I suddenly was "remembering" the sound healing techniques--of toning the auric field--being demonstrated. I knew I had experienced it before. This was all it took to focus me on a path experimenting with & practicing sound healing. Encouraged by my discoveries & passionate to share the benefits, I began offering evening programs for friends & clients. I found other deep tap roots in studying many of the diverse spiritual paths & multi-cultural healing traditions. Similiar to many, the path has continued to evolve in ways unpredicatable, yet certain; steep and arduous yet awesome and divinely graced. I cannot express in words my deepest gratitude, nor name the names of all who have given magnificently of their talents and wisdom to nurture my heart and soul. From studying with many of our inspired sound pioneers at International Sound Colloquiums and Conferences to mystical encounters with Wisdom Keepers, Elders, Shamans, Yogis, and Radiant Spirit Dancers--I have found myself transformed and blessed beyond measure! These workshops are, in turn, my love offering to the web of life inspired by their shining examples. |
